Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Closeloop ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Closeloop Does

Closeloop is a productivity app designed to help you manage open loops - tasks, thoughts, and to-dos that occupy mental space. The App stores all data locally on your device.

Your Data

  • All loops, actions, and app data are stored locally on your device.
  • We do not have access to your data. We cannot retrieve, view, or recover it.
  • If you delete the App or lose your device, your data cannot be recovered.
  • You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve your data.

Subscriptions

Closeloop offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with unlimited features.

  • Free: Up to 3 open loops at any time.
  • Pro: Unlimited loops. 7-day free trial, then £3.99/month.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App for lawful purposes only. You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App.
  • Use the App to store or transmit illegal content.
  • Interfere with the App's operation or attempt to access systems not intended for you.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Ben Howdle. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ben Howdle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
